Mark Your Calendar for 3/25 Project Leader Training

If you’ve been wanting to find a way to level-up your volunteerism at Smith Rock State Park, you should give being a Project Leader a try! We host trainings throughout the year that will help you build the skills required to lead a project during the Smith Rock Spring Thing, and during the other volunteer events we have scheduled throughout the year. With this year’s Spring Thing just over a month away, NOW is the time to hone your skills and help us complete even more projects when we gather to give back.

Who: You! A future project leader for trail work at with the Smith Rock Group

What: Project Leader Training, which will include repairing erosion damage on the river trail.

When: Tuesday, March 25, 2025, 5–7:30pm

Where: Smith Rock State Park. Meet at the picnic tables near the bathroom.

Why: We can only do as many projects as we have leaders for. By joining our team of trained Project Leaders, you help us increase our ability to give back to the park.

How: Just show up!
