Save the Date: 2025 Spring Thing

Mark your calendars! This year’s Spring Thing volunteer event will take place at Smith Rock State Park on April 26th, 2025. We have a ton of projects to complete this year and look forward to bringing everyone together again! Keep your eyes peeled for the signup sheet on our website and for updates on Instagram and Facebook. Just like last year, we’ll be asking all volunteers to register for a project ahead of time.

If you would like to help lead a project group this year, we’re looking for new project leaders! Please contact info@smithrockgroup.org by 4/1/2025 for more info. We will be hosting a Project Leader Training event again this year (stay tuned for more info!), so if you would like to lead a project but don’t have the experience to do so, this is a great opportunity to learn!

After we wrap up the day of volunteering, we’ll have our infamous gear auction, raffle, and volunteer dinner. If you have any interest in donating gear to the event, please contact our fundraising team at info@smithrockgroup.org by 4/1/2025. We’re also accepting monetary contributions to help fund the necessary supplies for this year’s projects.
